Terms of Service

Last updated: August 21, 2026

These Terms govern use of Front&Center (“we”, “us”, “the service”). By creating an account, starting a trial, or using the product, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Who this is for

Front&Center is a business tool for companies (primarily in Canada) that want an AI-assisted phone receptionist. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract for your business. The service is not offered to consumers as a personal answering service.

The service

We provide software and a phone number that can answer calls, handle common questions, take appointment requests, send SMS follow-ups, alert you when a human is needed, and show call activity in a dashboard. Features may change as we improve the product.

Telephony is delivered through third-party carriers (including Twilio). Number availability, call quality, SMS delivery, and carrier rules are outside our full control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect AI answers, or that every lead will convert into a job. The AI may misunderstand callers, miss context, or escalate incorrectly.

Trial and fees

New accounts may start with a free trial as described on our pricing page (currently 7 days). A payment method is required to start the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged the then-current fee for the plan you selected (Starter $150, Growth $300, or Scale $750 CAD/month, as shown on the pricing page at signup). You may cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges.

Subscriptions renew automatically through Stripe until you cancel in the billing portal or by contacting support. Taxes may apply. We may suspend or end access for non-payment, abuse, or misuse of telephony/AI resources. Fees already charged for a billing period are generally non-refundable except where required by law.

Your responsibilities

You must provide accurate business information, keep owner/staff contacts current, and review appointment requests before treating them as confirmed bookings. You are responsible for the services you sell to your customers and for complying with privacy, call-recording, AI-disclosure, advertising, and telemarketing rules that apply to your business and locations — including telling callers when they are speaking with an AI assistant when the law requires it.

AI, transfers, and callbacks

The receptionist may transfer calls or place people in a callback queue. You are responsible for responding to those leads in a reasonable time. Missed or delayed callbacks can mean lost work — that risk stays with you.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service for unlawful, harassing, fraudulent, or abusive calling/SMS; to spam; to violate carrier or Twilio rules; or to attempt to probe, disrupt, or reverse engineer the platform beyond normal use.

Intellectual property

We own the Front&Center software, branding, and platform. You keep ownership of your business content and caller data you provide. You grant us a license to process that data to run the service.

Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the AI will be error-free or that the service will meet every business need.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for lost profits, lost jobs, lost data, or indirect/consequential damages. Our total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your use of the service, your customer interactions, your business content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law — except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

Termination

You may cancel anytime. We may suspend or terminate access if you break these Terms or if we discontinue the product (with reasonable notice when practical). Provisions that should survive cancellation (including liability limits and indemnity) continue to apply. Phone numbers may be released after cancellation and are not guaranteed to remain yours unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms, except where mandatory law requires a different process.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer or other mandatory laws say otherwise.
